Thank you for considering sponsoring Ames on the Half Shell!

Ames on the Half Shell is an annual concert series held at Durham Bandshell Park in Ames. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Ames Jaycees, a group of young professionals committed to enhancing our community. The Ames Jaycees coordinate a variety of service projects in the Ames community throughout the year, and “Half Shell” is a big part of what makes those projects possible. Your sponsorship helps keep Ames on the Half Shell and the Ames Jaycees a part of this awesome Ames community!

Below are our three sponsorship levels and their associated benefits and costs. A contact form can be found below as well.

Bronze Sponsor

(single concert, no booth)

Sponsor Benefits

  • Sponsor’s logo included on Ames on the Half Shell social media promotional material
  • Sponsor’s name displayed with a link to Sponsor’s website on the home page of AmesOnTheHalfShell.com
  • Spoken recognition during intermission of sponsored concert
  • 5 free admission tickets for the sponsored concert
  • Sponsor will receive 1 free Ames Jaycees membership

Cost & Limitations

  • Bronze Sponsorships costs $250 for one concert
  • There may be up to two non-competing Bronze Sponsors per concert
  • Sponsor may choose which concert they sponsor (subject to availability, first-come first-served)

Silver Sponsor

(single concert)

Sponsor Benefits

  • Sponsor’s logo included on Ames on the Half Shell social media promotional material
  • Sponsor’s logo displayed with a link to Sponsor’s website on the home page of AmesOnTheHalfShell.com
  • Booth within the fenced area for giveaways, coupons, promotions, etc. for solicitation of attendees during sponsored concert
  • Spoken recognition during intermission of sponsored concert
  • 10 free admission tickets for the sponsored concert
  • Sponsor receives 1 free Ames Jaycees membership

Cost & Limitations

  • Silver Sponsorship costs $500 for one concert
  • There may be up to two non-competing Silver Sponsors per concert
  • Sponsor may choose which concert they sponsor (subject to availability, first-come first-served)

Season Sponsor

(all season concerts)

Sponsor Benefits

  • Sponsor’s logo included on print (signage, posters, magnets, & event staff t-shirts) and social media promotional material
  • Sponsor’s logo displayed with a link to Sponsor’s website on the home page of AmesOnTheHalfShell.com
  • Booth within the fenced area for giveaways, coupons, promotions, etc. for solicitation of attendees during each concert of the season
  • Spoken recognition during intermission of each concert of the season
  • 50 free admission tickets to be used throughout the season
  • Sponsor receives 3 free Ames Jaycees memberships

Cost & Limitations

  • Season Sponsorship costs $2000 for the full season (five concerts)
  • There may be up to two non-competing Season Sponsors per season
  • Because food and drinks will be available at each concert, distribution of any food or drinks at Sponsor booths is prohibited.
  • Sponsors must obtain and set up any booth tables, tents, and signage.
  • To avoid damage, attaching signage to the surrounding fence is prohibited.
