The Great Ames Adventure Race (GAAR) is a multi-sport amateur athletic event designed for all ages and abilities. The race is organized by members of the Ames Jaycees with support from various community volunteers and organizations.

September Membership Meeting on Thursday, September 19 at 6:00 PM. Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM and then formal meeting will begin at 6:30 PM. All are welcome!

It's the season of giving back and this is a small way to make an impact. Let's pick up the bell and ring for a couple hours on Saturday, November 9 from 10 AM - 12 PM at the North Fareway. All are welcome to ring - let's have fun and give back!

Help support the longest running Ames Jaycees event! Holiday Food Baskets will take place on Saturday, December 14. Please arrive to MICA at 8 AM to assemble food baskets and then we will hand them out to members of the community starting at 9 AM.
